Jacqueline Hall, Government Relations Expert, Joins Florida Justice Center Board of Directors

Former Congressional staffer and presidential appointee now focused on reentry for people with behavioral health issues takes leadership role with legal aid organization.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (July 19, 2023) –

Florida Justice Center announced today the addition of Jacqueline Hall to its board of directors. Jacqueline has served in a number of leadership roles including as a presidential appointee, operations director of a Super PAC, and as a Congressional staff. Today, Jacqueline serves as Chief Operating Officer of Wired For Addiction. Jacqueline’s vast experience in government relations, political affairs, organizational leadership, and behavioral health treatment will help further Florida Justice Center’s mission to help people overcome barriers to success caused by the criminal justice system.

Jacqueline acts as the principal conduit between Wired For Addiction and the entities they serve. Prior to Jacqueline’s transition to the private sector as Wired For Addiction’s Chief Operating Officer, she worked as a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill, went on to become the operations director of a Florida based Super PAC, became a federal government affairs specialist for a large Florida university system, and ended her career as a political appointee at the United States Department of Energy in the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.

“Recidivism continues to challenge our state’s criminal justice system. The devastation to families, fiscal burden on the state, and impact to the workforce tells us that we must find solutions to address recidivism amongst justice-involved individuals. That is what inspired me to join the Florida Justice Center Board of Directors,” said Jacqueline Hall. 

Jacqueline volunteers her time as a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Corrections Committee, the Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence Florida Program Advisory Board, the Pinellas Recovery Round Table Delegation Committee, and the International Society of Substance Use Professionals.
