Legal aid organization partners with city commissioner, sports teams, and other nonprofits to bring free school supplies, food, and services to children and their parents.
Gas prices have skyrocketed, interest rates are climbing, and jobs are hard to find. Times are especially tough for working families. That’s why City of Orlando Commissioner Regina Hill, along with a variety of organizations, is hosting a back-to-school event. Recognizing that we all need to come together to support our children, this one day event will feature free school supplies in a fun environment for the whole family!
On Saturday, July 30 from 10am to 1pm at Lake Lorna Doone Park in Orlando, join Commissioner Hill, Florida Justice Center, Orlando Magic, Orlando City Soccer Club, A-1 Orange Exterior Building Services, Humana, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, and Jack and Jill of America.
Come pick up a free bookbag, supplies, tennis shoes, underwear, socks, and important information that will benefit both parents and children! Enjoy free food & entertainment, educational resources, health and wellness information and job opportunities.
Florida Justice Center will be on hand for the parents, providing lawyers to assist with arrest record sealing and expungement, clemency applications, probation issues, driver license reinstatement, and more!
