CIGNA, One Umbrella (Transition, Inc. and Empowerment Zone ReEntry Initiative), and The Udonis Haslem Foundation present “An Umbrella of Hope Conference: Opportunities to Prosper, Grow and Heal” on January 23rd & 24th at Miami Dade College – Wolfson Campus. This 2-day event creates a safe meeting space where formerly incarcerated women, organizations specializing in reentry services and community stakeholders can meet to discuss, share knowledge, and talk about issues involving incarcerations, criminal justice, mental health, and advocacy. Our overall goal is to identify and track issues, develop action steps, and provide resolutions to subject matter affecting formerly incarcerated women.
