Florida Justice Center (FLJC) and Step Up! are bringing a one-time Community Empowerment Event to Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, May 7th from 11am to 2pm at Joseph C. Carter Park. Presented by FLJC’s attorneys, participants will learn the definitions of various legal terms, how to qualify for rights restoration, and will be afforded the opportunity to apply for assistance. This is a amazing Second Chance Event that will help returning citizens and their loved ones help themselves with our support. There will be plenty of time for questions from community members.
