News Report on 2024 Mother's Day Bail Out
What is the Mother's Day Bail Out?
The Mother's Day Bail Out reunites women held in Miami jail with their families for Mother's Day. Florida Justice Center, Greater St. Paul AME Church, and Re-Entry Onehave come together to strengthen the bonds between mothers and their children for this important day of love and togetherness.
We know children benefit from being with their mother. We need your help to bring these mothers home.
We also know that the support of a community can change lives. Because of this, we are committed to uplifting and supporting the women bailed out through this program with continued services, love, and kindness.
All contributions to the Mother's Day Bail Out are tax-deductible.
Who Will This Help?
Mothers are the heartbeats of our communities, nurturing not only their own children but also fostering a collective spirit of care and support. In uplifting mothers, we fortify the foundation of our society with compassion and resilience.
- Reverend Nathaniel Robinson, Greater St. Paul AME Church
There is very strict criteria for people to be helped by this program. To qualify they must:
- Be a woman and a mother
- Be held pre-trial for a non-violent offense (such as shoplifting, trespassing, etc.)
- Be in Miami-Dade County Jail
We believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and that a child's life is enhanced through the care, love, and support of their mother.
